In select cases, a CT scan may be required to better understand the complexity of fractures or assess bone healing.  CT scan provides us with a 3D view of the bones and their surrounding soft tissue, giving much more detail than can be learned from plain X-rays.

When needed, CT scans are performed through ProHealth Care Radiology.  If a CT scan is ordered for you by Dr. Al-Shihabi, ProHealth Care will contact you to help schedule it.  If you have questions regarding your CT or to reschedule it, please call either the hospital at which it was scheduled or (262) 928-3000.
